| Position Description |
This position is responsible for conducting independent scientific research and for publishing findings and results of the research. Persons in this position are normally the principal investigators on their own projects which are usually supported through outside agencies. This position does not normally require regular teaching responsibilities; however, certain persons in this position may instruct students in various laboratory techniques or present lectures as part of a teaching program. Adherence to robust safety practices and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations are responsibilities of all employees. |
| Qualifications |
Ph.D. in area related to research being conducted. At least five years of independent research experience in the particular discipline or research area is required, including the post-doctoral training period. |
