Provides advanced veterinary technical skills with respect to the care, management, treatment, and documentation of care provided to animals used in the teaching and research program of the Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine. This job would involve instruction of veterinary students in clinical and professional skills laboratories involving multiple species including physical examination, surgical, medical, handling, and communication situations. Incumbent must be willing and able to follow-up on all animal health issues on a daily basis. This will at times require weekend and holiday care of sick animals. Adherence to robust safety practices and compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations are responsibilities of all employees. |
