| Position Description | Supervises the work of journeyman in an assigned trade under the direction of a Foreperson. This position has operational and personnel oversight responsibilities over the assigned trade and assists the Foreperson in coordinating work activities of personnel and implementing expectations to carry out departmental objectives according to established policies and procedures. |
| Qualifications | Proficiency in written and mathematical skills as may be reflected in the completion of high school or equivalent. One years experience as a licensed journeyperson in the assigned trade; or four years experience in designated trade. Job-related vocational training and other education may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis. Thorough knowledge of the standard tools, equipment, materials, methods and practices of the assigned trade. |
