Provides advanced veterinary anesthesia and surgery skills with respect to the care, management, and treatment of animals used in the teaching and research program of the Texas Tech School University of Veterinary Medicine (TTU SVM). This job would involve instruction of veterinary students in clinical and professional skills laboratories involving multiple species including physical examination, anesthesia, surgical, medical, handling, and communication situations. The candidate must be willing and able to follow-up on all animal health issues daily. At times this will require weekend and holiday care of sick animals. As TTU SVM does not have a teaching hospital, duties will be primarily within the pre-clinical program. |
