Position Description As a lead content specialist (in the Office of Communications & Marketing), you will create and manage engaging content that populates a variety of digital and traditional platforms at Texas Tech University, including websites, blogs, printed material, advertisements, social media and more. You will work closely with leadership in the Office of Communications and Marketing and other university stakeholders to create and maintain content that adheres to brand standards and effectively engages target audiences.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in specialization or closely related field. Five years of experience in digital content creation. Ability to mentor student interns and fellow team members. Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing tools. Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar. Ability to communicate effectively with both external and internal audiences. Understanding of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research. Excellent organizational and project management skills
