2025 TTU Passport Project
Being a Red Raider means embracing global learning and if you're itching to explore the world, you'll need a passport. Don't let finances prevent you from finding your next big adventure in a different country. This is where the Passport Project can help.
To ensure access to impactful study abroad experiences, Texas Tech is excited to announce the Passport Project! The Passport Project will award free passports to deserving Red Raiders.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to apply for the TTU Passport Project, students must be:
- Currently enrolled Texas Tech students
- U.S. citizens
- 18 years of age or older
Preference will be given to:
- First-year students
- Students who have never before received an adult U.S. passport

Mark your calendar! Applications for the 2025 TTU Passport Project will open on July 15, 2025.

Week of October 20 |
Awards Dinner and Passport How-To Session |
During International Week, Study Abroad and International Affairs staff members look forward to discussing next steps in the passport application process over dinner. Attendance is required and the session is only available to awarded passport recipients. The date is to be confirmed but will occur the week of October 20. The event will be held in the International Cultural Center Hall of Nations. |
