With trans-disciplinarity at its core, this Study Abroad program will expose students to a 360o view of Sustainability in Costa Rica. We will tour urban, rural, industrial, and touristic destinations that operate with the central focus on balancing current and future social and environmental needs. Students will engage in enriching conversations with owners and operators at cutting-edge regenerative resorts, permaculture communities, renewable energy operations, and mixed-use urban communities. A lot of valuable information will be packed in this short but exciting course!
