Welcome to the Library Makerspace!
**The Makerspace will be closed Friday, January 12 through Monday, January 15**
In a change from previous semesters, printing is free for students, faculty, and staff who are working on class assignments, approved research projects, and approved student organization projects. For all personal projects, there is a nominal fee covering the materials cost of the printer, but the expertise is still free!
The Texas Tech University Library is now offering 3D printing, 3D scanning, and other maker technology in a new area available to all students, faculty, and staff.
Our mission is to provide excellent service in helping you develop your ideas and bring them to life.
The Makerspace is located on the first floor of the Library, in room 132, near the west service desk.
If you already have a file that is ready to be printed, please bring it to the Makerspace
with your ideas and specifications.
If you are not sure where to get started with 3D printing and modeling, check out
some of the resources that can help you find, design, and develop your own 3D files, or visit the Makerspace
and let us help you bring your ideas to life!
If you have any questions, or for information on faculty support for 3D printing, please contact email@example.com.
