- ThinkTech Researchers and scholars can use the ThinkTech institutional repository to distribute and archive previously published or new works at no cost to the author or reader. Must comply with publisher policy. Visit our Submission Guide and FAQ page for step-by-step instructions.
- Texas Tech University Open Access Initiative A fund of $25,000 has been allocated by the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) to be used to help authors defray the cost of open access publication fees (APCs). Please email limitedsubs.vpr@ttu.edu in ORI for more information. Heidi Winkler, Digital Services Librarian, can help authors navigate non-APC methods of research publication.
- The person requesting open access funds must be (a) the lead, senior, and/or corresponding author (the person most responsible for the work), and (b) a current Texas Tech faculty member, full-time instructor, or research professor. Students are not eligible to apply. The bulk of the research presented in the article must have been conducted while the lead author was a faculty member at Texas Tech University.
