Welcome to the Library Makerspace!
The Texas Tech University Library offers a newly-expanded Makerspace with 3D printing, 3D scanning, laser cutting, textiling, and other maker technology in an area available to all students, faculty, and staff.
Our mission is to provide excellent service in helping you develop your ideas and
bring them to life. While some services cost a nominal fee, which helps us cover
the cost of materials and maintenance of the hardware, we have expertise and tools
available for free!
The Makerspace is located on the second floor East of the Library, in room 210, near the DMS.
If you already have a file that is ready to be printed, please bring it to the Makerspace
with your ideas and specifications.
If you are not sure where to get started with 3D printing and modeling, check out
some of the resources that can help you find, design, and develop your own 3D files, or visit the Makerspace
and let us help you bring your ideas to life!
If you have any questions, or for information on faculty support for 3D printing, please contact make@ttu.edu.
