Step right up - popcorn, prizes, games & giveaways!

The University Libraries will host its second annual Library Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 and Wednesday, Sept. 14, in the Croslin Room of the University Library.

The event will offer an interactive forum for Library patrons to ask questions, tour the and building and see demonstrations of the numerous services provided including the new GroupWorks interactive media area, electronic resources such as the online music database, Personal Librarians and accessing millions of free digital images. Information will also be provided on the many items available for checkout from the Digital Media Studio (DMS) including iPods, digital cameras, lighting kits, audiobooks, DVDs and much more.

The fair will feature popcorn, prizes, games and giveaways, as well as a chance to complete a Library Passport and win additional prizes. Attendees can take their picture, carnival style, with a cutout of the Libraries’ 3D animated “Studious Raider Red” and upload to Facebook for even more prizes.
