Scholarships

One way that we show our students we care is through our outstanding scholarship program. Students in the Department of Animal and Food Sciences have an excellent chance of receiving a scholarship. In 2010, the departmental scholarship committee was able to award approximately $35,000 in scholarships. Most of the scholarship money is set up in endowments ensuring that our scholarship program will continue for many years to come. Maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA, becoming active in the department, and participating on judging teams are all ways to enhance your chances of receiving a scholarship.
