Outreach Opportunities in Spring 2018
January 31: Self Defense Class, 5 pm, SUB Red Raider Ballroom
Come out and kick butt with SAB and R.I.S.E. at our self-defense class hosted by Texas Karate Institute.
February 9: Women's Night at the Rec, 8-10 pm, Student Rec Center
Okay now ladies lets get into formation with SAB at Women's Night at the Rec for DIY sugar srubs , fun, food, and prizes.
February 12: Volunteer Fair, 10 am - 1 pm, SUB Red Raider Ballroom
A great opportunity to find LOCAL agencies in need of volunteers!
February 15: Tie the Knot, 12-2 pm, in front of SUB CopyMail
Tie the fleece know with SAB by making fleece dog beds for the dogs at Morris Safe House
March 5: Parent Pamper Kits, 12-2 pm, in front of SUB CopyMail
Pamper the parents at Ronald McDonald House by making them parent pamer kits and inspirational note cards.
March 7: Pancakes at Ronald McDonald House, 7:30 am, 3413 10th Street
Celebrate iHop's National Pancake Day by making pancakes for the children at the Ronald McDonald House. Let us know you're attending by emailing email@example.com; limited space available.
March 21: Bead Who You Are, 12-2 pm, in front of SUB CopyMail

April 7: Tech to Town, 12:30-4:30 pm, Locations vary
Tech to Town is a one-day event that brings students, faculty, and staff out into the community to serve, impact, and strengthen the bonds between Texas Tech University and the City of Lubbock. Texas Tech University is grateful for the support and care that the City of Lubbock provides throughout the year, and this is just a small way to say thank you. Registration is open now!
