Holds Explanation

Ready? Set. Register!

It’s almost time to register for Spring and Summer semesters. Before you can do that, you need to get ready. An excellent way to start is to check your holds. Holds are reminders of tasks you need to complete. These holds can delay your registration, so take care of them now.

Log in to Raider Success Hub (RSH) or Raiderlink. You can view holds from either portal.

Holds have categories. Any hold that is TR, TS, or ST may delay registration. A TE hold will prevent you from seeing final grades.

Here’s how to handle specific holds (your advisor can only update their advising hold):

  • If you have an advising hold like the one below, schedule an appointment with your academic advisor. You can find your advisor’s name and email address in RSH. In most cases, you can also schedule an appointment with them in RSH.

  • If you have a TS hold that looks like the one here, we still need TSI test scores for you. Contact Academic Testing Services to schedule the TSI Assessment. You need to take this test to have the hold removed.
    TSI Hold
  • If you have a TR hold from TSI like the one below, you can relax. This hold will drop off in time for registration.
    TR Hold
  • If you have a hold from SBS, contact their office to discuss payment plans. Call them at 806-742-3272.
    SBS Hold
  • You may see a hold for Immunization. That hold means we do not have your current records showing required immunizations. You can contact Student Health at 806-743-2848 or upload your records to Med Proctor on this website: https://www.depts.ttu.edu/studenthealth/newstudents/

  • · If you see this hold from Housing, they still need a signature from you or a document from you. Contact them at 806-742-2661.

This hold from RISE will not delay registration, but you will be unable to see your final grades until you complete the video and questions. Email rise@ttu.edu to have the hold moved.
