Established in 2009 with the purpose of the Dr. Rodney Preston Graduate Fellowship Endowment is to fund scholarships for graduate students with studies in the field of animal science focused on the production, nutrition, growth, protein metabolism and muscle physiology of beef cattle or other similarly related fields of research to advance the efficiency and understanding of commercial beef production as part of the US agricultural industry. Recipient must be a graduate student in good standing in the Department of Animal and Food Sciences.

Established in 2007 by Tom and Anne Rioux to be used for any and all needs of graduate studies in the food science program within the Department of Animal and Food Sciences. It includes, but is not limited to, equipment, all types of teaching and/or research needs, faculty and graduate student travel, fellowships for graduate students, printing, supplies and any other expenses incurred in support of Graduate Studies in the Food Sciences Program.
