CMLL hosted a Passport Party on August 23rd as an official event during Raider Welcome 2017. Upon arriving at the Passport Party, visitors – incoming freshman at TTU – received a "passport" in which they gathered "stamps" from the various booths representing CMLL divisions: American Sign Language, Arabic, Classics, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish. Visitors learned about the academic programs and student organizations housed in CMLL, enjoyed international treats, mingled with faculty and students, and won door prizes. The Study Abroad Office was present to answer students' questions about obtaining a real passport in order to study abroad with CMLL's faculty-led programs.
