Program Brochure
Students participating in this program will have the unique opportunity to study child and family development in the context of the community while exploring the rich culture and history of London and surrounding areas. Students will enroll in one course on Theories of Human Development and the Family and one course on Family in the Community which will be taught in an innovative fashion to encourage reflection, interpretation and application, With excursions to local schools and museums as well as Royal London Hospital Museum and Cambridge University, students will gain a cultural and historical perspective of childhood, family, and the community. Students will also have the opportunity to appreciate English culture by attending the theater, taking tea, and traveling to the beautiful Dorset seaside.
