Bio

Rob King is a metadata and cataloging librarian at Texas Tech University's Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library. He received his B.A. in English from TTU in 2003 and his M.S. in Library Science from UNT in 2011. Since joining the Texas Tech University Libraries in 2011, he has instructed on and performed cataloging standards with a specialization in RDA as well as aiding in acquisition and metadata for the Newspaper Digitization Project for the Southwest Collection. His research interests include radical cataloging, fandom studies, archives, and the American Southwest.
