Nearly 20% of students were unaware that there was a chat/text option available to access assistance from librarians. Look for the chat icon on the lower right side of the website to start a chat session with a librarian for immediate help. Also look for the "Need Help?" menu option at the top of our website that lists all the ways you can get in touch with us.

You told us how we helped

We received many comments in this survey about how we made a positive difference in your studies.

  • "Love the library's open search for research articles! It is so easy to use and does a wonderful job of connecting with journals and other sources of research. It has been invaluable!"
  • "The librarians are awesome. The invasive feeling of most libraries does not encroach on scientific discovery. Discovering the many library on campus is phenomenal, but the main library is coazy! It is easy to move through the stacks and their is plenty of study room, and places to read and quest!"
  • "I have always had an enjoyable experience. I think that the different spaces for studying and doing homework are really nice and everyone can find a space that suits them. I also like to just go into the library and read my own personal books sometimes because it is a nice environment."
  • "Good space to study, helpful people around to help you find what you're looking for."

As you can see, your Library is dedicated to helping you be as successful as possible by giving you assistance and access to necessary information, materials, and services.

Issues commented on this year

Through this survey, we received feedback regarding concerns that were voiced through survey comments.

  • "I wish the library and in general the wifi on campus would be better. I go to the library a lot to study and there would be a lot of times where the wifi would just be down and I would have to drop my work."
  • "Please make it more appealing inside! Plants and colors PLEASE. It's go grey, sad, and boring. especially in the basement PLEASE. Paint the walls, add a better floor, change up the desks, add couches and tables and decorations."
  • "Stacks carousels are sometimes dirty and not kept up well. Love studying here and figure it is difficult to keep each unit clean between rentals, but I figured I'd comment about it because I've come to my unit and seen chip bags, lost wires (from a circuit board or something a student brought not the electrical in the building itself), crumbs, loose paper, bottle caps, and other trash in the carousels I've checked out this semester."
