Addison Fitch is from Elizabeth, Colorado, and serves as the Journal Clerk for the 62nd Student Senate Session for the 2026–2027 academic year. She is a sophomore majoring in Elementary Education in the College of Education at Texas Tech University.

Texas Tech has given Addison opportunities and friendships that have helped shape who she is today. Her involvement in the Student Government Association began in the First-Year Leadership Association, where she found a passion for serving others and being a voice for students. She later served as a Student Senator before being selected as Journal Clerk. In this role, she is excited to support the work of the Student Senate and help preserve the history of the organization.

Outside of SGA, Addison is a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She has always loved being involved in her community through leadership, service, and working with children. Those experiences, along with her time at Texas Tech, have strengthened her desire to become an elementary school teacher.

Addison believes some of the most meaningful parts of college are the people you meet and the impact you can make on those around you. She is grateful for the chance to serve the student body and hopes to help make Texas Tech a place where every student feels welcomed, supported, and represented. She is honored to be part of an organization that works to improve the student experience and leave a positive impact on campus.

After graduation, Addison plans to become an elementary school teacher and hopes to encourage, support, and inspire her future students every day.
