Information About Texas Tech University
TTU Resources for Faculty & Staff
The Resources for Faculty & Staff page includes many of the resources provided below and offers direct links for faculty and staff related to general TTU news and information, employee services, TTU and Lubbock resources for the whole family, and other services.
Operating Policy 32
OP 32 lists the academic policies for faculty at TTU including information on policies such as OP 32.01: Promotion and Tenure Standards and Procedures, OP 32.12: Faculty Absence for Observance of Religious Holy Day, OP 32.29: Faculty Development Leaves, and OP 32.24: Faculty Awards.
eRaider
All TTU employees and students are assigned an eRaider account to provide them with access to the TTU network. Your eRaider serves as your TTU electronic identification and provides you with access to the internet, your TechMail (email), Raiderlink, software downloads and more.
Raiderlink
Raiderlink is your online campus connection and is where you can access your personal employment information as well as administer grades and access class schedules, lists, etc. for the courses you are teaching. It also provides links to campus resources such as University Parking Services, Faculty Senate, Human Resources, Payroll, etc.
Digital Measures

DigitalMeasures is a software platform designed to help faculty keep track of their
academic and professional activities. Texas Tech has adopted DigitalMeasures for the
purpose of annual reporting and this website provides resources and online training
videos for DigitalMeasures.
Faculty Handbook
Each year the Office of the Provost compiles a Faculty Handbook to provide faculty members and teaching assistants with a reference for information on TTU administration, facilities, benefits, and research, just to name a few.
Faculty Senate
As stated on their website, the TTU “Faculty Senate acts on behalf of the faculty and serves as an advisory body to the President of the University and may consider all matters of university concern.” The Faculty Senate website provides links to information such as the Faculty Senate membership, meeting dates, minutes and agenda, constitution and bylaws, resolutions, and reports.
Benefits
While many of the benefits available to faculty are provided within the Benefits and Services section of the Faculty Handbook, additional and more detailed information can be found at www.ers.state.tx.us and www.Humanadental.com/ers.
Parking on Campus
Parking on campus is monitored by Transportation & Parking Services, and an ePermit is required to park on campus on a regular basis (there are some park and pay lots). For information on how to obtain a faculty parking permit, please refer to the Faculty & Staff Information page.
Student Demographics
Texas Tech Student Demographic information.
TechAnnounce
Most events and announcements regarding TTU are posted on TechAnnounce, an email list of announcements that are regularly distributed daily in the fall/spring semesters and bi-weekly in the summer. All TechAnnouncements must be related to TTU and submitted by a TTU student or employee. For additional information on how to post to TechAnnounce, please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions.
Where do I find TTU symbols to use in presentations or web design?
Identity Guidelines Homepage • Double T & Signature • Official Colors • Presentation Templates
To help maintain a consistent identity, TTU has developed a centralized resource providing
a list of university approved symbols (in high resolution), color schemes, and presentation
templates for TTU faculty, staff, and students to utilize in the development of websites
and other official presentations or publications.
