About Me

Kellie Littrell grew up in Round Rock, Texas, and attended Texas A&M University earning a bachelors degree in Agricultural Science and then her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She also holds a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota and a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership from the Townsend Institute at Concordia University in Irvine. She spent nine years in small animal general practice in Georgia before transitioning to veterinary hospice and palliative care in Colorado. She moved to the Texas Panhandle with her husband and three kids in 2024 to join the teaching team at Texas Tech University's School of Veterinary Medicine.

Instruction

Dr. Littrell’s teaching focuses on various aspects of small animal veterinary practice including euthanasia, pain management, hospice and palliative care, physical exam, communicating with clients, working in teams, clinical decision-making, professionalism, and surgical skills.

Service

Dr. Littrell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Texas Veterinary Medical Association (TVMA). She is also an active member of the International Association for Animal Hospice and Palliative Care (IAAHPC) serving on multiple committees.
