The Texas Seed Trade Association "" American Cottonseed Delinter's Association Scholarship Endowment was established by the Texas Seed Trade Association and American Cottonseed Delinter's Association in 2007. The scholarship is awarded to undergraduate and graduate students majoring in soil science, crop science or agronomy.

The Charles Weddle Scholarship Endowment was established by Billlie Wolfe. The endowment will provide scholarships to students within the Department of Plant and Soil Science. Preference will be given to horticulture graduate students researching native plants, including buffalo grass, native trees, native orchids, and wildflowers. If no candidates meet this criteria then the scholarship can be awarded to either graduate or under graduate students studying ornamental horticulture.

The scholarship is awarded to students with a minimum of 30 hours and is enrolled in the Department of Plant and Soil Science. Preference will be given to students that have an interest in agricultural chemicals, demonstrate financial need.

The scholarship is awarded to juniors and seniors in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources that are U. S. citizens. Preference will be given to Horticulture majors, students in the Department of Plant and Soil Science, and students majoring in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
