Christi Wier is a registered architect in Texas. She is on the Board of AIA Lubbock and Women in Architecture West Texas Chapter. In addition to teaching, she owns CMW Designs PLLC doing custom residential and small commercial architecture. Christi is originally from outside of San Antonio, Texas. Following a summer internship in Austin, she graduated from Texas Tech's dual March/MBA program in 2012 and started working for Parkhill in Amarillo. In 2015 she and her husband moved back to Lubbock where she worked for BGR Architects and received her license in 2016. Outside of architecture and academics, Christi enjoys being a boy mom, coaching fitness and nutrition, being outdoors and traveling with her family.
