Bibiana Ossai
Research Interests: Psychoanalytic and Trauma theories, Black & Ethnic studies, 20th century Eastern Nigerian history, and Postcolonial theory.
Ogochukwu Bibiana Ossai is a Ph.D. Creative Writing student at Texas Tech University. She is a recipient of the Idyllwild Arts Writers Week 2020 Fiction fellowship and the winner of the Equinox Journal 2019 Poetry Contest. Her works appear in The River, The Book Smuggler's Den, Refractions (iō literary online journal), Sad Girls Literary Blog, Landing Zone, Flash Fiction Magazine among others. She is a graduate of Long Island University Brooklyn Campus MFA Fiction program where she was awarded the Marilyn Boutwell Graduate Award in Fiction.

Bibiana Ossai was the winner of the Equinox Poetry & Prose Journal 2019 poetry contest and was awarded the Marilyn Boutwell Fiction Award upon graduating from the MFA program at Long Island University, Brooklyn.
