Jennifer Tubbs is a Southwestern writer whose work focuses on queer womanhood through the lens of magical realism. Her prose can be found in Winning Writers, CutBank, Conceptions Southwest, Thirteen Bridges Review, and elsewhere. Her work won first place in CutBank's All Accounts and Mixture Contest, and she is the recipient of the 32nd Annual Tom Howard/John H. Reid Fiction & Essay Contest in nonfiction. 
  
Jennifer holds an M.F.A. from The University of New Mexico and a B.S. from Georgetown University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Creative Writing at Texas Tech University. When she isn't writing or teaching, she's on the yoga mat or wandering in the woods.
