The criteria by which applications for an Open Access Award will be evaluated are
as follows:
The affiliation of the applicant as a full-time faculty member of Texas Tech University
(for the Faculty Awards) or a full-time graduate student of Texas Tech University
(for the Graduate Student Award).
The contributions or platforms used should demonstrate open values and evidence of
disciplinary importance and review.
The impact of the open access or open educational work internationally, nationally,
state-wide, locally, and/or at TTU.
The significance of the work to the research, teaching and/or professional development
of the applicant.
