Call for Entries: FACE 2010

All full- and part-time faculty members are encouraged to submit any of their scholarly works as an entry in the 2010 Faculty Academic Contributions Exhibit (FACE) by May 25, 2010*.

There is no entry fee. Entry submission forms are to be completed and submitted via the online entry form.

This year's FACE theme, Seeds of Knowledge, is in celebration of Texas Tech's faculty sharing their wisdom and accomplishments as colleagues, researchers, professors and mentors.

This year's event includes a hands-on, interactive component and will include an enhanced multimedia presence for a more thorough, dynamic and engaging experience. Please join us at the opening reception from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6, 2010, in the Library's Croslin Room.

Complete the online entry form today and reserve your place in the exhibit's 26th anniversary of treasuring our resources and spreading the seeds of knowledge.

*Any area of inquiry is eligible, regardless of whether you have completed/published your scholarly work(s); we only ask that your work(s) fall within the time frame of May 1, 2009, to May 1, 2010. Eligible items for submitted work(s) include but are not limited to: books, journal articles, reports, musical scores, screenplays, films/podcasts/Webcasts and artwork in a variety of mediums, software programs, patents/trademarks, scientific discoveries and other original works.

Submissions made after this date will not be accepted. Physical and electronic exhibit items do not have to be turned in by May 25.
