About Events and Instructional Space Management

Event & Instructional Space Management (EISM) maintain and manage the scheduling of events in academic space on TTU Campus. Reservation requests are managed by SPI staff and are granted based on availability and the priorities of the desired space. In addition, EISM manage the Raider Rooms project, a selection of classrooms designed to serve the entire TTU campus community by providing standardized equipment, technology and resources.

Event Scheduling

Reserving academic space is a privilege afforded only to those directly affiliated with the university. This includes academic departments, student and support organizations, and individual faculty and staff members.

Event applications should be submitted a minimum of one week before your event. Please allow 1-2 business days for processing, as event requests are processed in the order they are received. After your request has been approved, you will receive a confirmation containing the details of your event and any special instructions you may need. If additional information is required, an email will be sent to the requestor's provided email. Please refer to the FAQs for assistance.

Please do not advertise for your event until approval is granted and you have received confirmation from our office.

Room Capacity - COVID-19 and TTU social distancing guidelines is at 6 feet per person and the current capacity listed for Classrooms (110) is at COVID-19 guidelines for TTU. Events are not to exceed 50 people in attendance even if the room has a larger capacity. Please remember to practice 6 feet or sitting with an empty seat between each person and everyone needs to be wearing a mask.

Raider Rooms

Raider Rooms are designed to serve the entire TTU campus community by providing a wide range of equipment, technology and resources. These classrooms are centrally scheduled, and are maintained by Operations Division Planning & Administration. This project would not be possible without a vital partnership with IT Help Central Classroom Technology Services. Please refer to the FAQs for assistance.

COVID -19 Information

COVID-19 and TTU social distancing guidelines is 6 feet apart or sitting with an empty seat between each person and can not exceed room capacity or TTU Event attendance guidelines. Events are not to exceed 50 people in attendance even if the room has a larger capacity. Everyone needs to be wearing a mask, wear gloves for handing out any materials, must keep a list of those in attendance at meetings, events, and programs for tracing purposes. Wipe desks/table before and after use. No food or drinks (even bottle water) in the rooms or at the events.
