Chris Powitzky, a registered architect in Texas, has experienced an eclectic career in the Austin, TX area, working for a number of firms, small and large, boutique and commercial. Consequently, he has had the privilege of collaborating on a variety of projects. Each exhibiting unique design innovations respective to their site location, building program and Owner necessities to provide optimal service and solutions. As a native Texan, Chris earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from Texas Tech University in 2008, finished one year of education for UCLA’s Master of Architecture, and received a Master of Architecture degree from Texas Tech University in 2010. After joining Beck in 2012, Chris contributed to significant projects like the state-of-the-art Pandemic Influenza Facility (PIF) in College Station, TX. As a project architect with PGAL, Chris performed design and construction administration services for the Blue Parking Garage and Administration buildings located at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA) in Austin, TX. Presently, Chris is a Lead Project Architect for BGK Architects in Austin, TX and has orchestrated design coordination and documentation for the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Arts & Media Building. He is actively performing construction administration services for the same building.
