Ms. Crites, a native of Maryland graduated from TTU with a Bachelor of Architecture and has resided in Lubbock for many years. She is a registered architect with over 30 years of experience focusing primarily on institutional facilities including the first LEED certified building on the TTU campus. During that time Ms. Crites has designed fifteen award-winning projects.

Prior to forming her own company in 2012, she was a principal with a large regional multi-disciplinary EA firm.

Over the years she has kept ties to the College including serving on the College of Architecture Alumni Association as a board member then Chair. She has also previously been an adjunct professor and visiting consultant with the TTU College of Architecture.

Crites is active in the Lubbock community and in the architectural professional community currently serving on the City of Lubbock Urban Design and Historic Preservation Commission, the Lubbock Heritage Society Board, and the Friends of Camp Mary White board. Previously she has served in numerous leadership roles with the Texas Society of Architects, the Lubbock Chapter of the AIA and with local and regional Girl Scout Councils.
