Welcome to Architecture Library

The Architecture Library is a branch of the University Libraries and is located on the 9th floor of the Architecture Building. The collection includes materials on architecture, design, urban planning, and landscape architecture. The Architecture Library includes an Image Library of digital collections on architecture, art, and design. Services include reference, reserve, instruction and circulation.

Circulation Policy

Materials held by the Architecture Library may only be checked out there.  Items may be renewed once online, or you may bring them to the Architecture Library for renewal. Loan periods for books and media in the Architecture Library differ from those for items in the main library.

The Architecture Library follows the Overdue and Lost Item Policy of the main library. To inquire about a fine or overdue item, please contact Unit Coordinator, Chris Hidalgo at 806.834.5340.

Vacant | Architecture Image Librarian

The Architecture Image Librarian identifies image collections for purchase, prepares them for uploading, and works with Architecture faculty on the digitization of their own images for the Library's digital collections.


Chris Hidalgo | Unit Coordinator

Chris supervises the library student workers, processes materials for reserve, and handles overdue and billing questions.


Bonnie Reed | Architecture Librarian

As manager of the library, Bonnie is responsible for setting policies, building the collection, and keeping the College of Architecture faculty up-to-date on library activities.


Hillary Veeder | Architecture Public Services Librarian

Hillary oversees public services, coordinates instruction and reference, and answers questions concerning the Architecture Library web pages and Architecture Research Guide.
