Abigail Franco is a senior, first year Senator for the College of Education seeking a degree and certification for Elementary Education and a minor in dance. She graduated from high school in 2019 with honors and as a 2nd place Texas State Speaker. Currently she is in three honor societies, a sorority, seven other school organizations, and works under DDEI as a First-Gen Peer Mentor in addition to being a senator. Abigail also loves volunteering and helping others when ever she has a free moment in addition to creating multiple forms of art and hiking. She is very passionate about bilingual and ESL students in education and hopes that one day she will be able to serve as a politician to better the entire education system in the state of Texas.
