Four standout students from Texas Tech's College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources have been selected to receive prestigious Terry Foundation Scholarships, university officials announced today. Selected from a highly competitive applicant pool of incoming freshmen and transfer students who have demonstrate exceptional leadership, character, financial need and scholastic ability, the foundation provides four-year scholarships.
Four students from Texas Tech's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources will be spending the summer working as interns in the nation's capital. Running from June through August, the college's congressional summer intern program affords selected students an opportunity to experience first-hand the government's day-to-day operations.
