Kleinschmidt Award
The following Guidelines are intended to give nominees a better understanding of the submission process as a whole, as well as to provide insight into the kinds of contributions that are important in this award.

Submission Guidelines
The Kleinschmidt Award is given to an individual or organization that has demonstrated exceptional support for or contributions to the HCOA and does not have to go to an alumnus(a) of the Huckabee College. The Kleinschmidt Award is a way to honor those whose teaching, contributions, support, friendship and/or patronage have advanced the cause of architectural education at Texas Tech.
Nominees must demonstrate their significant contributions to the Texas Tech Huckabee College of Architecture by meeting all of the following criteria:
- An individual, firm or organization that has exhibited extraordinary passion for advancing the goals of the Texas Tech University Huckabee College of Architecture.
- Must have made significant and lasting contributions to the College through service; teaching; leadership; gifts; or other unique means.
- Must be of exceptional integrity and stature, so that all will be proud and inspired by their recognition.
