Join the Texas Tech University College of Education for our annual Teacher Appreciation Tailgate—a game-day celebration of educators, future educators, alumni, and the College of Education community.

The tailgate is free for educators and their guests!

The tailgate is free to attend and does not require a football ticket.

Educators who would also like to attend the Texas Tech vs. West Virginia football game can purchase specially priced educator tickets through Texas Tech Athletics.

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION 30 UNDER 30

This year’s Teacher Appreciation Tailgate will also celebrate the College of Education’s 30 Under 30, recognizing outstanding young alumni who are making an impact in education, their professions, and their communities. This recognition celebrates the stories, achievements, and impact of educators who inspire excellence and embody the heart of our college.

The 2026 honorees will be recognized as part of the College of Education’s game-day celebration on November 7.
