Step 1: Apply to Texas Tech

Before entering TechTeach, our Teacher Education Program, you'll need to apply to Texas Tech University:

Step 2: Apply to the TechTeach program

After you have completed the required course hours, you can apply to the TechTeach program.

Your advisor will help make sure you meet all the Admission Criteria required for TechTeach.

If you are a: You need to:
First time first-year student Complete the first-year application on the Undergraduate Admissions site.
Transfer student Complete the transfer application on the Undergraduate Admissions site.
Current College of Education student Select Education as your major.
Student with a different major interested in teacher certification Talk with your advisor to select the correct major.
