Wreck 'Em Teach is a student organization in the College of Education dedicated to fostering relationships between future educators and the Lubbock community through student led events, alumni outreach, and service. Founded in 2023, Wreck 'Em Teach is one of the college's newest and proudest organizations, grounded in a unified desire to help future educators build a mental and physical toolbox that they can take with them into their classroom. After only our first year as a student organization, we were nominated for the Overall Outstanding Event award and the New Student Organization of the Year award, further proving our dedication to our members. Some examples of what we do include a mentor/mentee program to connect underclassmen with upperclassmen, work alongside the Burkhart Center for Autism to assist in their events, and plan our own events filled with crafts, games, and community to forge bonds between students. This organization is welcome to anyone who has an interest in teaching, regardless of if you're in the College of Education or not. We hope to meet you soon!
