The Burkhart Center for Autism Education and Research

The Virginia Murray Sowell Center for Research and Education in Sensory Disabilities

Institute for Measurement, Methodology, Analysis and Policy (IMMAP)

The Institute for Measurement, Methodology, Analysis, and Policy at Texas Tech University are dedicated to the complementary missions of (a) training students at both the Undergraduate and Graduate levels in state-of-the-science methodology and data analysis and (b) providing best-practice support to students, staff, and faculty in the conduct of their research. Center for Research in Leadership and Education (CRLE)

The Center for Research in Leadership and Education seeks to engage in collaborative research and practical application partnerships which generate nuanced and comprehensive understandings of the role leadership can play in the elimination of persistent inequities in public education (nationally and internationally) and in the development of a more just and caring global society. Doctoral Support Center

Center for Innovation in E-Learning (CIEL)

The CIEL provides various services to enhance and support excellence in teaching and learning in an online environment by employing the theory and practice in the instructional technology discipline. Learn more about CIEL.

U.S. PREP National Center

The University-School Partnerships for the Renewal of Educator Preparation National Center (U.S. PREP) is a coalition for reformed teacher preparation beginning with universities and parter school districts in six south and southeastern population centers. Community Outreach

The East Lubbock Promise Neighborhood is just one of our extensive community outreach projects that include partnering with low-income neighborhoods to implement community revitalization programs that are centered in the schools. Learn more about ELPN.

Faculty Research Projects

The research taking place within the College of Education is driven, in large part, by our dedicated faculty and students. The research taking place here will contribute to a deeper understanding of a multitude of topics that will impact the way we look at education, the needs of special populations and the psychology of learning, among others.
