ParaTeach: Earn Your Degree While Working as a Paraprofessional
- A version of our traditional 2-year program designed specifically for paraprofessionals in partnered districts
- Allows you to keep your current job as a paraprofessional while completing the program
- Your work as a paraprofessional will count as a major portion of your student teaching hours
- Online coursework paired with in-district coaching and support
- Ideal for paras who want to advance their career and move into a full teaching role without stepping away from their current position

Admission Requirements
- Completion of 60-66 hours of prerequisite requirements
- 2.75 GPA
- Admitted to Texas Tech
- Dispositions Interview
- Completed 12-15 hours coursework in content area
- Ability to pass background check
- English Language Proficiency
