The preferred criteria for this scholarship is for it be awarded to a part time doctoral student in science education who is engaging their students in global education, broadly defined. If no such students exists, the preference is a part time doctoral student in technology education, engineering education, or math education who is engaging their students in global education broadly defined. If no such student exists, the preference is for a part time doctoral student who is a practicing science educational practitioner in the United States. If no such student exists, the scholarship can be awarded to a science education master’s student. If no such student exists, the scholarship can be awarded to any student in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
