The preferred criterion for this scholarship is for it be awarded to a part time doctoral student in science education who is engaging their students in global education, broadly defined. If no such student exists, the preference is a part-time doctoral student in technology education, engineering education, or math education who is engaging their students in global education broadly defined. If no such student exists, the preference is for a part-time doctoral student who is a practicing science educational practitioner in the United States. If no such student exists, the scholarship can be awarded to a science education master’s student. If no such student exists, the scholarship can be awarded to any student in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction.
