What are Fast Track and Traditional options?
Fast Track (2+1)
Our TechTeach Fast Track model allows Teacher Candidates to complete their upper-level course work and student teaching through Texas Tech University in one calendar year without leaving home.
With the proper prerequisite coursework completed at a partnering community college, you can earn your bachelors degree and teacher certification in your area. Although the courses are delivered online, you are required to live in the region in order to work in participating schools within our partner school districts during the student teaching practicum.

Traditional Four Year Program (2+2)
TechTeachs Traditional model spreads your upper-level course work and student teaching practicums across two years (following two years of undergraduate courses - that's why we call it "2+2!").
Both models are rigorous and the quality of the education and training you receive are the same. Reach out to one of our recruiters today to discuss the options available in your area.
Our School District Partners
We partner with school districts across Texas so you can get hands-on experience in your area. You might even teach in a school you went to!
In TechTeach, you are a part of the community in which you train. Our teacher candidates lead extracurricular activities and support student growth inside and outside the classroom.
