What are Fast Track and Traditional options?
Fast Track
Our TechTeach Fast Track model allows Teacher Candidates to complete their upper-level course work and student teaching through Texas Tech University in one calendar year without leaving home.
With the proper prerequisite coursework completed at a partnering community college, you can earn your bachelor's degree and teacher certification in your area. Although the courses are delivered online, you are required to live in the region in order to work in participating schools within our partner school districts during the student teaching practicum.
Traditional
TechTeach's Traditional model spreads your upper-level course work and student teaching practicums across two years.
Both models are rigorous and the quality of the education and training you receive are the same. Reach out to one of our recruiters today to discuss the options available in your area.
Our School District Partners
Our ISD partners love TechTeach teacher candidates and strive to engage them in every aspect of professional development and hands-on experience available in their schools. Some of our most successful TechTeach candidates have even taught in schools they attended!
As a TechTeach teacher candidate, you also become an integral part of the community in which you train, with options to participate in leading extracurricular activities and supporting the growth of students inside and outside of the classroom.
