Susan Wass

Susan Wass is a collaborative pianist Susan Wass performs regularly with string, woodwind, and brass artists in recitals and conferences throughout the United States and abroad, including the International Tuba and Euphonium Association's international conferences in Linz, Austria; Regina, Saskatchewan; Tucson; Cincinnati; and Knoxville as well as regional conferences in Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, Nevada, and Oklahoma.  For many years, she was a conference accompanist at the annual Big 12 Trombone Conference in Lubbock, Texas.

She has a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Houston, where she studied with Ruth Tomfohrde and Abbey Simon and completed her master's degree at Indiana University with Leonard Hokanson. She held the position of senior staff accompanist at Texas Tech University from 2002-2022.
