Marc McDougal is CEO of McDougal Companies, a diversified real estate firm based in Lubbock, Texas. Since becoming CEO in 2015, he has led the company’s expansive operations across residential, commercial, and multifamily development. Under his leadership, McDougal Companies has listed or sold more than $5 billion in real estate and developed or built over $1 billion in commercial and residential property. The firm has also owned or managed more than 7,500 apartment units in 15 Texas cities.

McDougal has worked in every division of the company, gaining hands-on experience across all areas of the business. He has also been active in professional organizations, serving as president of the Lubbock Apartment Association and holding board positions with the West Texas Home Builders Association and the Lubbock Board of REALTORS®.

Beyond his business endeavors, McDougal is known for his civic leadership, most notably serving as Mayor of Lubbock from 2002 to 2006 following two terms on the City Council. During his tenure, he was instrumental in reforming municipal utilities, investing in water infrastructure, reducing property taxes, and encouraging development in North and East Lubbock.
