Rawls Research supports faculty scholarship through funding opportunities for scholarly publishing and external grant development, as well as through grant proposal and award management support.
Internal Funding
- Summer Research Grant
Tenured faculty in Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Energy Commerce, and Business Economics can apply for summer research funding supporting:
- Top-tier journal publications
- External grant development
Funding opportunities are offered for up to $30,000 per award/research project.
- Data Collection Grant
Funding support of up to $5,000 is available for smaller-scale data collection efforts connected to larger research initiatives.
Eligible requests may include:
- Data acquisition
- Coding support
- Equipment
- Research supplies
- Data collection travel
Applications are accepted year-round.
External Funding
- Grant Proposal Support
The Rawls Research team provides guidance for faculty pursuing external research funding, including the proposal submission process (Pre Award), as well as guidance to manage external funding at the Post Award phase.
