Craig Vaughn is the Manager, Strategic Transactions for ConocoPhillips. Craig began his career with Conoco in 1997 as a Financial Analyst in Midland, Texas. In 2000, he transferred to Houston, Texas where he began his commercial career in natural gas trading. Since that time, he has held multiple Trading and Origination roles in the Global Gas and Power Trading organization at ConocoPhillips which grew into and remains a top-five largest marketer of natural gas in North America. After receiving his Executive MBA in 2011, Craig expanded his commercial expertise when he transferred to Alaska and became responsible for long-term strategic negotiations in the Cook Inlet. He gained additional commercial experience when he transferred to the ConocoPhillips Global LNG Marketing team and led a price review in Tokyo, Japan on behalf of a large LNG export partnership in Australia. In 2017, Craig became responsible for leading a team of natural gas Traders and Originators in the Gulf Coast Region before transitioning to his current role in 2024. Craig was invited to serve on the Texas Tech Rawls College of Business Advisory Board in 2024.

Craig received his BBA in Management from Texas Tech University in 1997 and his Executive MBA from Texas Tech University in 2011.
