Marcus Mainord

Managing Director | Private Bank | J.P. Morgan | Fort Worth, TX

As a Managing Director, Marcus oversees a team of financial professionals and is directly responsible for managing client relationships in Texas and New Mexico for the J.P. Morgan Private Bank.

He joined the Private Bank in 2007, and has extensive experience working with families and their respective operating businesses across several disciplines; including asset allocation, investment management, lending, and trust and estate planning. His team currently oversees over $5.5 billion of client assets, much of which is tied to west Texas.

Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Mr. Mainord spent six years in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he specialized in investment management. His primary experience there was as a research analyst with Stephens Inc., advising both institutional and retail clients on investment opportunities within the public equity space.

At Texas Tech University, Mr. Mainord earned a B.B.A in Finance (1998).  He later received his MBA from Texas Christian University.  He is a Chartered Financial Analyst. 

Marcus and his wife Jamie (also a 1998 Texas Tech graduate) reside in Fort Worth, Texas with their two sons, Jacob (15) and Alex (12).  The family's philanthropic endeavors include Justin's Place, Folds of Honor, Trinity Valley School and Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth.
