Terry Lyons is President, CEO, and Founder of Academic HealthPlans (AHP), a Grapevine, Texas-based firm providing health insurance consulting, brokerage, and plan administration solutions for student health insurance programs at colleges and universities nationwide. With his wide background in accounting, underwriting, marketing, and sales, he has been able to propel AHP to the market leader in the student health business. Terry has more than 30 years of leadership experience and remains actively involved in providing consultative services to clients, including his alma mater, Texas Tech University. He lives in Colleyville, Texas with his wife, Susan,  and has four children. He enjoys boating and golf when he can get away.
