Evan has extensive expertise in audit and assurance services, specializing in the energy sector. He advises public and private companies on complex accounting matters including US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP, and SEC reporting. His experience spans upstream, midstream, and oilfield services, as well as private equity, professional services, manufacturing, and employee benefit plans.

Evan’s technical strengths include foreign currency translation, complex derivatives, business combinations, and equity valuation. As a senior associate, he broadened his global perspective through the HLB International Secondment Program, working in London with Smith & Williamson, where he gained valuable international audit experience.

A proud graduate of Texas Tech University, Evan earned his BBA in accounting from the Rawls College of Business. He remains actively engaged with the university as treasurer of the Rawls Recent Alumni Board. He also serves on the board of directors of the Permian Basin chapter of TXCPA and is a past president of the Petroleum Accountants Society of the Permian Basin. Evan is a member of AICPA, Young Professionals in Energy, and Young Professionals of Midland.
