2025 Distinguished Alumni Award

As president of a leading CPA firm in San Antonio, TX, Kim and her team provide direct financial counsel to clients across the state, assisting them in making crucial decisions for success. Her areas of specialty include tax and estate planning, as well as litigation support for attorneys by analyzing complex financial situations and providing expert testimony in the courtroom.

Recognized as a leader in the community for her contributions as a business owner and philanthropist, Kim has received the Women's Leadership Award and has been recognized as Who's Who in Accounting by the San Antonio Business Journal. She has also received the Small Business Leaders Award for Business Achievement from the North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Women Business Owners.

Kim received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Texas Tech University in 1983, is the former chair of the Texas Tech Foundation Board, a member of the Chancellor’s Council, and a member of the Rawls College Advisory Council.

Her daughter and son-in-law, Heather Ford Caussade and Luke, are both Texas Tech alumni, and her grandson, Ford, is a member of the Texas Tech Alumni Association's Legacy University.
